This Privacy Policy explains how Digitopia Marketing (“Digitopia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our marketing platform and social-media scheduling tools (the “Service”), including our Social Scheduler that connects to third-party platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok.
1. Who we are
Digitopia Marketing is a creative and marketing-technology company. We provide tools for generating marketing assets and for scheduling and publishing content to social-media platforms. This policy applies to our websites at digitopia.marketing (including the customer portal and Social Scheduler) and related services.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at info@digitopia.marketing.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, business/agency name, language preference, and authentication details when you register or sign in.
- Content you provide — briefs, prompts, text, and images or other media you upload or generate for use in your marketing and social posts.
- Social account connections (OAuth tokens) — when you connect a social account, we receive and securely store access/refresh tokens and basic profile details (such as account name, ID, and avatar) provided by that platform. We do not receive or store your social-platform password.
- Usage & technical data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, actions taken, and timestamps, used to operate and secure the Service.
- Billing data — if you subscribe, payment is processed by our payment provider; we store limited subscription status and identifiers, not full card numbers.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating assets and scheduling and publishing the content you create.
- To connect to your authorized social accounts and publish or schedule posts on your behalf.
- To authenticate you, secure your account, prevent abuse, and provide support.
- To improve the Service and communicate with you about your account (e.g., transactional emails such as sign-in, invites, and password resets).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the private content of your connected social accounts for advertising or profiling.
4. Social platform data — Meta (Facebook & Instagram) & TikTok
In short: When you connect a Facebook, Instagram, Meta, or TikTok account, we access it solely to schedule and publish the content you create, and to show you basic account details and post status. We do not sell, rent, or share this data, and we use it only to provide the features you request.
Our use and transfer of information received from Meta APIs and the TikTok API adheres to the respective platforms’ developer and platform policies, including the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies and the TikTok Developer Terms of Service.
What we access
- Facebook & Instagram (Meta): your authorization token, the Pages / Instagram professional accounts you choose to connect, basic profile information (name, ID, username, profile picture), and permission to publish or schedule the posts, media, and captions you create.
- TikTok: your authorization token, basic profile information (display name, avatar, open ID), and permission to upload/publish the videos and content you create.
How we use it
- To publish or schedule the specific posts you compose and approve within the Service.
- To display your connected accounts and the delivery status of your posts.
- We access this data only while your account is connected and only to perform the actions you initiate.
How you control it
- You can disconnect any social account at any time from the Connections screen; this revokes our stored tokens for that account.
- You can also revoke access from the platform itself (e.g., Facebook/Instagram “Business Integrations” or “Apps and Websites” settings, or your TikTok “Manage app permissions”).
- To request deletion of data we hold from a connected platform, email info@digitopia.marketing (see Data retention & deletion).
5. Third parties & sub-processors
We share data with a limited set of service providers strictly to operate the Service. We do not sell your data. Current sub-processors include:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare R2 | Object storage for uploaded and generated media | Your images/media and file metadata |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery | Email address, message content (e.g., invites, resets) |
| OpenAI, Anthropic, Replicate | AI generation of text and images | The prompts/briefs and content you submit for generation |
| Meta & TikTok APIs | Publishing and scheduling to your connected accounts | The posts/media you create and your authorization tokens |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to this policy.
6. Data retention & deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Social platform tokens are retained only while the corresponding account is connected and are deleted when you disconnect it.
How to request deletion
- Disconnect a social account in the app to immediately revoke and delete the stored tokens for that account.
- To delete your account and associated data, email info@digitopia.marketing from your account email with the subject “Data deletion request.” We will verify your request and delete your personal data and stored platform data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Cookies & sessions
We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in (session cookies), remember your language preference, and protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact info@digitopia.marketing. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
